The models run on your PC. Your conversations, your projects and your data never leave your computer. It's not a promise: it's the architecture. In chat you simply pick the model you want to talk to (LocalIdea suggests the fastest one for your PC on its own); the assistant's memory and personality always remain yours.

App → installer for Windows, Linux and macOS. Website → zip ready to publish. With a navigable preview before downloading, and an Explore button to use the result as if it were already live. Download GGUF models from the internet or import them from your PC with one click: LocalIdea recognizes them, measures them and honestly tells you which ones will be fast and which will be slow.
You always have the final say
Every change proposed by the AI goes through Approve/Reject: you see the difference, you decide. Rejected? Everything goes back exactly as it was. You can also customize backgrounds, identity and memory of the assistant to make it truly yours, exporting or importing your settings on any PC.

Do I need internet?
Only to download the models the first time. After that, LocalIdea works completely offline, forever.
Where does my data go?
Nowhere. Conversations, projects and the assistant's memory live only on your disk. There is no LocalIdea server to send them to.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Describe what you want and the AI builds it. If you do code, you have full access to the source with changes protected by Approve/Reject.
Which models can I use?
Any model in GGUF format: the ones suggested by LocalIdea, ones downloaded from the internet, or files already on your PC. LocalIdea tells you right away which ones will be fast on your hardware.
My PC is old, will it work?
LocalIdea was born exactly for this: the engine adapts to the hardware it finds and optimizes the models accordingly. An old PC will never be as fast as a new one, but LocalIdea squeezes out the maximum physically possible — and always tells you, honestly, what to expect.
How much does it cost? Any usage limits?
No subscription and no counter: the models run on your PC, so usage is unlimited by nature.
